Hello! I am Lakshmi Sathyan, a EEE student from VIT, Vellore. I am a versatile individual with a passion for technology, programming and writing. With a solid foundation in Web Development, I have honed my skills through various internships and projects. My knowledge of Machine Learning is at an intermediate level and I am working on some exciting projects in this field. I am very comfortable coding in Java, C and Python and I have always enjoyed exploring new programming languages and frameworks
I have also delved into the world of electronics. My proficiency in Arduino programming, Tinkercad, MATLAB and CMOS digital design, along with my certification in VLSI design, has given me a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
Apart from technology, I have a flair for writing. I have been the English editor during my high-school years and have served as Editorial Head of a chapter in my college. I love to express my thoughts through words and take pleasure in writing about my experiences.
My ultimate goal is to combine my technical knowledge and technical writing skills to develop innovative solutions and share my ideas with the world. Advanced level knowledge of all the three technologies. I have done many projects using HTML , CSS and JavaScript. Also I have completed two internships where I had used these three extensively.
I have beginner level knowledge of backend technologies. I have done a couple of projects using Node.js and Express.js. I have basic knowlege of React.js also.
I have recently started learning SQL (April 2023) , and therefore I haven't dirtied my hands in SQL. I have clear understanding of the basic concepts of SQL.
I have 1 year experience using various ML algorithms. I have done several projects where I have used supervised Machine learning. Also I had used Linear regression model in the internship done remotely given by IIT Kharagpur.
As a EEE student, I have rich experience and expertise in IoT. I have worked with Microcontrollers like Arduino uno, Arduino Nano, NodeMCU , 8051 etc. I have a good command over C , Verilog languages.
Since the first semester in college, I have been using MATLAB and Simulink for various lab assignments and projects. Hence I have intermediate level knowledge in MATLAB and Simulink.

The system monitors a person's heart rate, ECG and spo2 level and shows the data on the ThingSpeak platform and our website The system also predicts whether a person can get a heart attack or not. We worked on an ML model which uses Logistic Regression to predict whether a person has a chance of getting a heart attack based on some pre-defined parameters. This ML model can be used on a website integrated through the Flask library.
A smart health monitoring system with multiple functionalities. The system incudes multiple tasks , one at a time using the pushbuttons.It can measure temperature, check pulse and calculate BMI of a person. It can also be used as a social distancing alert and a medicine reminder.
The project comprises MATLAB simulation of Inductive wireless charging, Capacitive wireless charging and Microwave wireless charging simulation. Thorough research was also conducted for RAPT, RIPT and Magnetic coupling resonance wireless charging systems.
In the first part I've used Markowitz model to identify the best portfolio by analysing the returns and risk from assets. And in the second part reinforcement learning is used to predict the stock price of any company. The model is expected to take actions in order to maximize the profit and reduce losses.
